Masuria is located in the north-east of Poland. It is a land with the huge amounts of lakes and rivers and the 30% of the whole area is covered with forests, mainly pine and mixed. According to the high afforestation rate, Masuria is being called the lungs of Poland. A healthy climate is a merit of huge amounts of trees but also the low indicator of urbanization and industrialization, that’s why on the Mazurian area is quite a lot of areas behaved with intact civilization and virgin nature.
